Why we opened
Salons have changed, and not always for the better. Appointments have got shorter, and it is easy to feel like a slot in a diary rather than a person in a chair. Salon 15 was set up on Wakefield Road to do it differently: good hair, done properly, by people who take the time to look after you.
How we work
We listen before we pick up the scissors. Every visit starts with a proper conversation about what you want and what will suit you, and for bigger colour changes we book a consultation first so the plan is agreed before any work begins. We remember the details, from how you take your coffee to what you asked for last time, and we do not rush. You should leave knowing you were looked after, not just finished.
The team
We are a small team of four: Katie, who owns the salon and leads it, AJ, Kennedi and Hope. We get on, we work well together, and clients notice that. Ask for anyone by name when you book; each stylist has their own page showing their recent work.
The salon
Near-black walls, gold-framed mirrors and warm lighting. It is a calm room to sit in while your colour develops. The salon is wheelchair accessible and there is parking close by. We use vegan products only.
Good hair is a given. The care around it is what we are known for.
